Dynamic NFT
An NFT whose metadata or appearance can change based on external conditions.
A dynamic NFT is designed so its metadata or visual appearance can change over time, generally in response to external data (such as a real-world event or an on-chain condition) rather than remaining permanently fixed at mint.
This contrasts with most standard NFTs, whose metadata is fixed once minted, and typically relies on an oracle to feed in the external data driving the change.
Examples
- A dynamic NFT representing a game character might visually change as the character levels up.
