Social Recovery Wallet
A wallet that lets trusted contacts help restore access without a traditional seed phrase.
A social recovery wallet lets a predetermined group of trusted contacts ("guardians") collectively help restore access to a wallet if its owner loses their device or primary credentials, without relying solely on a traditional seed phrase backup.
This is one application of account abstraction, intended to reduce the single-point-of-failure risk a seed phrase alone represents, while introducing a different form of trust in the chosen guardians.
