Token Unlock
The scheduled release of previously locked tokens into circulating supply.
A token unlock is a scheduled event where previously locked tokens (such as a team or investor allocation subject to vesting) become available and enter circulating supply, generally following a schedule published at the token's launch.
A large upcoming token unlock is commonly watched as a potential source of increased sell pressure, since newly liquid holders may choose to sell some or all of their unlocked tokens.
