NFT Marketplace Aggregator
A platform that pulls together NFT listings from many separate marketplaces into a single interface, letting users search, compare, and purchase across all of them at once.
An NFT marketplace aggregator is a platform that pulls together listings for the same NFT collections from many separate underlying marketplaces into a single unified interface, letting a user search, compare prices, and execute a purchase across multiple marketplaces simultaneously, without needing to check each one individually. Some aggregators can also combine several separate listings into one single transaction, when a buyer wants to purchase multiple NFTs across different marketplaces at once.
Aggregators generally benefit buyers by surfacing the lowest available price for a given NFT across all connected marketplaces — relevant, for example, when attempting a floor sweep (see Kaavon's "Floor Sweep" glossary definition) across a collection — and have become a significant source of overall NFT trading volume, since their convenience often makes them a default starting point for buyers rather than checking individual marketplaces separately. A given aggregator's usefulness depends directly on how many marketplaces and collections it successfully indexes and keeps synchronized in close to real time.
Examples
- A buyer attempting to sweep the floor of an NFT collection might use a marketplace aggregator to simultaneously purchase the cheapest available listings across several different underlying marketplaces in one transaction.
- An NFT marketplace aggregator's usefulness depends on how comprehensively and quickly it indexes listings across the marketplaces it connects to.
